Why do I write?

Why do I sit down every night, open my laptop and type away on a blog that nobody else is reading? What’s the motivation?

As part of an internal effort to become more mindful, I’ve been trying to ask myself why more often.

With regard to writing, I’ve done some reflection on the source of my passion.

Writing is the means to achieving an end: clarity. For an abundance of unique thoughts and feelings, writing is able to take complex ideas and give them beautiful meanings.
